Founded in 1975, Tupa Renda S.A. has a long and rich history in livestock, forestry and rural development in Paraguay. Starting with nearly 50,000 hectares, it became one of the major agribusiness companies in Paraguay.

In October 2007, Black River Asset Management acquired the majority of the company shares.

Today, driven by opportunities in the global market, Tupa Renda SA has redefined its role in the local agribusiness, being transformed from a grain collector, to an Agricultural producer, working in harmony with social and environmental development of the areas of influence.
